Two Shot & Killed on Sunday in St James and Clarendon

Two men were reportedly murdered over the weekend in two separate incidents in the parishes of  St James and Clarendon.

Reports are that the first incident claimed the life of 22-year old Raheem Brown otherwise called ‘Prince’, a labourer from Granville in St James.

Brown was shot and killed by unknown assailants at approximately 7:25 am.

Residents from the community heard explosions close by and decided to summon the Montego Bay Police, who arrived on the scene shortly. Upon their arrival, the victim was discovered with gunshot wounds, and taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The second shooting occurred just a little over an hour later in the parish of Clarendon, which claimed the life of 27-year-old Jermaine Morgan, otherwise called ‘Bobo’, who was a chef in Palmer’s Cross in the parish.

Reports are that Morgan was shot and killed by unknown assailants at approximately 8:20 pm.

The deceased was killed while he sat inside of his place of business, where he was a chef.

Morgan was shot several times by two armed men who approached him. He was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
