Mavado Wanted For Questioning by The Jamaica Constabulary Force

The Communications Unit of the Jamaica Constabulary Force has issued a request for popular entertainer David Constantine Brooks, popularly known as Mavado, to make himself available to answer questions they believe might be helpful in an ongoing investigation.

According to the police department’s official social media pages, the entertainer has until June 6, 2018, to report to their offices.

A post was made with the following caption: The Constant Spring Police are asking dancehall artiste David Brooks o/c ‘Mavado’, of Norbrook, St. Andrew to report to the station by midday on Wednesday, June 6. The Police believe he can assist with an ongoing investigation. Call 924-1421 if you know his whereabouts.

Mavado was involved in an altercation with a group of men last Saturday, where it is alleged that the entertainer laid hands on one of the men, over a dispute with his son. Shot/s were later fired at the entertainer’s parked motor car.

It is the theorized that Brooks may have been requested for questioning in relations to another ongoing case, which saw 23-year-old Lorenza Thomas, commonly known as ‘Israel’ or ‘Trulups’;  being shot, chopped to pieces and his body burnt by a group of men while at his home in Cassava Piece earlier today.

There was no mention by the police that there were any involvements by the entertainer in today’s event.
